ok so there is this guy that i really like and he wants me to go canoeing with him and his friends.Im so nervous.I've never been canoeing before..whats it like?Does it go fast,will it tip over?Do you get soaking wet?I keep picturing it to be like what you see on tv..goin thru all the rough water and down slopes and stuff?I know this all sounds stupid..but i know nothing about it..someone plz tell me about it.......

Tell him your concerns and go canoeing on a small pond. The water will be calmer than a big lake or river. Big lakes mean more encounters with big boats and their wakes. Don’t forget the sunscreen, wear a life vest and enjoy yourself. Paddling is a great workout so you might be a little sore and tired afterward but in a good way.
